Sedgefield Youth Club is proud to announce our involvement in two exciting community events hosted by Sedgefield Town Council this Autumn and Winter. A few of our members will be actively participating in the upcoming STC Fireworks Event and Halloween Howler, where we’ll be adding a splash of colour and fun by selling cakes and glow sticks. These contributions not only help raise funds for the club but also give our young people a chance to engage directly with the wider community in a lively and supportive setting. This half term, within the sessions, has been largely focused on trialling recipes for this upcoming fundraiser. We have developed several biscuit flavours and produced a spooktacular Halloween cookie to kick-start our menu.
Later in the season, we’ll also be joining the STC Snow Party, bringing festive cheer and youth-led energy to this much-loved event. Our members are looking forward to helping create festive baked treats and edible gifts for a joyful atmosphere whilst supporting the council’s efforts to deliver memorable experiences for local families.
Beyond these seasonal events, the Youth Club is keen to improve participation of our coffee mornings, which offer a relaxed and welcoming space for all ages to connect. These gatherings are a vital part of our fundraising efforts and a great way for residents to support the club while enjoying a warm drink and friendly conversation. We encourage everyone to keep an eye out for our upcoming activities and events, and we look forward to welcoming even more of the community to our sessions. Whether you’re a long-time supporter or a first-time visitor, your presence makes a difference.
