I am delighted to have chosen Feeding Families as my headline charity of the year.

Feeding Families works across the North East to provide emergency food and essential support to people experiencing hardship. Through a network of trusted community partners, they help thousands of individuals and families each year with dignity, compassion and practical support.

Over the coming year, Sedgefield Town Council and I will be supporting Feeding Families through fundraising activities, food collections and community events. Together, we hope to raise vital funds and collect essential items that will help ensure local families do not face crisis alone.

Whether you choose to donate food, support a fundraising event, volunteer your time or simply help spread the word, every contribution will make a difference. As mentioned previously, there is a Feeding Families collection box in the Sedgefield Town Council office, where we welcome all non-perishable food donations.

I look forward to working with residents, businesses, schools and community groups across Sedgefield to support this important cause.
